Panditarama Forest Meditation Centre
December 1 – 31, 2026
International meditators are warmly invited to join a 30-Day Special Retreat at Panditārāma Hse Main Gon Forest Meditation Center in Bago, Myanmar, from December 1 through December 31, 2026.
This special retreat offers meditators from around the world the opportunity to devote an extended period to intensive Satipaṭṭhāna Vipassanā meditation in the tradition of the Venerable Mahāsi Sayadaw.
During the retreat, meditators will practice approximately 12–14 hours each day, alternating sitting and walking meditation while maintaining continuous mindfulness throughout daily activities. The retreat includes regular Dhamma instruction and individual interviews with meditation teachers to provide guidance and support for one’s practice.
The Hse Main Gon Forest Meditation Center is situated in a peaceful, natural setting and has long served as a place for intensive meditation practice for both Myanmar and international yogis. Accommodation, meals, and other basic necessities are provided at the center.
