Anyone visiting our website has the following options for providing personal data to us.

1. Via the contact form. With this, you provide us with your e-mail address, first and last name, telephone number if you wish, and give us the reason why you are contacting us.

  • We aim to reply to your message within 24 hours, by e-mail or by phone if you wish.
  • Your name and e-mail address will be manually added to the address file guus@mahasi.net.
  • Your name and e-mail address will be manually added to the address file for the Guus Went / Newsletter, which is sent 1 – 3 times a year via the Mailchimp programme (see below).

2. By registering for a retreat through payment through our webshop.

  • Our webshop works with Mollie. You can currently pay with IDEAL, Bancontact and Bankoverdracht. In doing so, you provide us with your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank account number and reason for payment (retreat or donation).

3. By signing up on the reserve list for one or more retreats. In doing so, you give your name and e-mail address and, if desired, age, place of residence, and special wishes and/or motivation for participation.

  • If a participant cancels within one month before the start of a fully booked retreat, those on the reserve list will be contacted by e-mail or telephone to ask whether they wish to participate.

4. When you have previously expressed an interest in our activities through the Contact page, through signing up for a retreat, through signing up for the reserve list of a retreat, or by telephone, you will receive the Guus Went / Newsletter. This newsletter provides you with news and information about the foundation’s activities two to three times a year.

You, the recipient, have a simple and automated option with every newsletter to remove yourself from the newsletter’s address file.

When you do so, your address will then be manually removed from the foundation’s address file within seven days.

If you do not open a newsletter for two consecutive years, your data in the address file will be manually archived, removing you from the address file.
